List Growth is an important metric for email marketers, as it provides insight to the trending popularity of a brand's email marketing campaign.
When evaluating users it's important to look at two trends: general trends, and trends within a group. Cortex's list growth reporting includes registration source so marketers can quickly evaluate the registration sources that result in loyal and engaged subscribers.
List Growth Reporting can be found inside the User List Growth tab for the report builder:
Controls:
Start Date -Beginning of reporting period
End Date - End of reporting period
By Registration Source - This adds a layer of detail for subscriber count by registration source
To - The destination email for the report
Subject - Subject line for the report
Message - Additional message details to include with the report
Opening Your File:
- Download the file from your email
- Unzip the file
- Add .csv to the file
Output:
Date - The date which relates to the other reporting on this row
Registration Source - The stored registration source used to group users for reporting
Daily Subscribes - Users who signed up for email that day
Daily Unsubscribes - Users lost to unsubscribes that day
Daily Non-Subscribes - Users added to the database but were never subscribed that day (as opposed to unsubscribed)
Total Non-Subscribes - Total number of users who were added to the database but never subscribed (as opposed to unsubscribed)
Total Subscribes - Total users added (all time, to date)
Total Unsubscribes - Total users lost to unsubscribes (all time, to date)
Total Subscribed Users - Net count of users subscribed to email on (date)
