How to manually unsubscribe users via list upload

When it comes to manually unsubscribing users, you can do so in one of two ways: you can unsubscribe users one by one in Microscope, or you can unsubscribe users via list upload. 

In this article we'll cover the process for unsubscribing via list upload.

First, put together a file to be uploaded. Your file should include the headers "email" and "date_unsubscribed". For the unsubscribe date, make sure to use the date format: YYYY-MM-DD

When your files is ready, go to your Smart Segments page.

1. Click Upload in the "Your Segments" section.
   
   
   
   
2. Name your list upload.
3. (Optional) Enter a description for your upload.
4. Select the import option "Import a comma-separated .csv/.txt file"
5. Click Browse for a file to attach your file to the upload.
6. Click Upload.
