Can I set a global frequency cap in Cortex?

Cortex will reach out to each of your users at their predicted frequency. You can set the minimum floor in which your users will be reached. The default is 3 days.

Set the minimum floor using the following steps:

1. Within the Cortex menu, click Settings.
2. Set the "Global minimum interval" field to one of the following settings:
   • 1 Day
   • 3 Days (Default)
   • 7 Days
   • 10 days
3. Click Save.

 What you should know about the Minimum Interval setting: 

• A floor of 3 does not mean everyone gets an email every 3 days. Every user in your database has a predicted interval, some will be 3, some will be 4, some will be 7, etc. We cap the ceiling at +7 days from the floor. So if you select a floor of 7 days, the ceiling will be 14.  Everyone is then placed between those two intervals.
• Trigger-based emails will reset this interval and send as early as the next day (i.e. if someone cart abandons, we won't wait 10 days to send). But subsequent touches on those stages (like Cart Abandon and Ready To Buy) will wait for the minimum interval before trying again.
