Ingest Loyalty Lion Metafields from Shopify

Our Shopify integration can ingest LoyaltyLion fields that have been pushed into Shopify customer Metafields.

Note the following:

• This is not a full integration with LoyaltyLion.
• A maximum of 3 LoyaltyLion fields can be supported due to Shopify's API rate limit.

Setup:

To set up this capability, follow the steps below:

1. Determine which LoyaltyLion fields you intend to push into Shopify customer Metafields.
2. Send the corresponding Metafield names, as well as your site ID, to your CSM or a Technical Support Specialist to set up, and await confirmation that your Cortex instance has been properly configured.
3. Upon receiving confirmation, proceed with enabling the fields you'd like to push from the integrations section of the LoyaltyLion Admin.

How to use:

All ingested LoyaltyLion fields will be made available for use as merge tags in Cortex email templates using the following format:

• loyaltylion.field_name will be available as {{loyaltylion_field_name}}

For example, if the following LoyaltyLion fields are pushed into Shopify Customer Metafields:

• loyaltylion.points_total 

• loyaltylion.points_approved 

• loyaltylion.points_pending 

You will be able to use the following merge tags in your email templates:

• {{loyaltylion_points_total}}
  • Usage example: Total points = {{loyaltylion_points_total}}
• {{loyaltylion_points_approved}}
• {{loyaltylion_points_pending}}
