Just want to simply respond to customer interactions? This one is easy, but unlike other solutions in the market, Cortex will actually use Artificial Intelligence to optimize each interaction. For example, if a user gets a price drop message, it will be based on our predictive product recommendations, and not just simply something a customer has viewed before. Or our powerful predictive churn models will catch those users who are becoming at risk of leaving your business, and the Artificial Intelligence engine will respond before they churn.
Stages needed
How it Works
As these are just triggers, there isn’t a specific user flow, per se. These stages are enabled to react to a user when they exhibit a specific behavior, and are a part of a complete customer lifecycle management strategy.
If a user is eligible for multiple triggers, Cortex will make best effort to send the optimal mix across a user’s interval distribution, so you won’t have to worry about sending too many messages, or not the best converting ones.[1]
- Cart Abandon: Captures users who leave products in their shopping cart without purchasing. [No incentive, No product recommendation].
- Follow up: This is an important engagement message that is sent 10 days after a customer makes a purchase. This is a good opportunity to send more product information, collect feedback, or entice a repeat purchase. [Yes incentive, Yes product recommendation].
- Browse Abandon: Similar to cart abandon, but this captures when a user views a product on your site or mobile app and does not go through with a purchase. [No incentive, Yes product recommendation].
- Search Abandon: Captures when a user searches for something on your website or app (via a search box) but ultimately doesn't find what they are looking for. This stage will then recommend items in your feed that semantically match their search term(s). [Yes incentive, Yes product recommendation].
- Birthday: Make sure to try and capture your customers’ birthday during signup, as this message typically converts well. Cortex will automatically pass on your birthday greetings! [Yes incentive, Yes product recommendation].
- Anniversary: This message is sent annually on your customers’ signup date. Another great opportunity to engage your users, and converts well like the birthday message. [Yes incentive, Yes product recommendation].
- Price Drop: Based on our predictive product affinity models, we will look for price drops on items we predict your customers are interested in, and send them auto-notifications. [No incentive, Yes product recommendation].
- Back in Stock: Based on our predictive product affinity models, we will look for items that come back in stock that we predict your customers are interested in, and send them auto-notifications. [Yes incentive, Yes product recommendation].
- Buy Again: We will find items in your inventory which are frequently repeat purchased, and will trigger this stage to purchasers to remind them to buy again. The trigger will send based on the predicted re-purchase time for that user. [Yes incentive, Yes product recommendation].
- New Arrivals: Based on our predictive product affinity models, we will look for items new to your inventory that we predict your customers are interested in, and send them auto-notifications. [Yes incentive, Yes product recommendation].
[1] Some triggers are sent once, like Birthday or Follow Up. The stages that can be sent multiple times as “reminders”, such as Cart Abandon or Browse Abandon, have an expiration of 14 days before Cortex moves on and tries something else.
