Subscription Cortex: Promotional Blast

Promo Blast is for your highest priority delivery-critical marketing messages. It will send independent of other Cortex rules, and will override any other send a user is scheduled to receive. Promo Blast should be used for only the most important messages, such as specific holiday sales.

 Promo Blast does not affect a user's Cortex interval, and will not change the cadence of sends from other stages.

Who will receive Promo Blast?

Promo Blast will send to everyone in your list, or everyone in your targeted segment if a segment is used for the send. Unlike Smart Blast it will override any other messaging from Cortex that day.

When will Promo Blast send?

Promo Blast has two scheduling options: send as soon as possible, and send all at once (at a scheduled time). Promo Blast is not affected by a user's send interval or best time to contact.

How do product recs work for Promo Blast?

Product recommendations for Promo Blast use our Standard Best Recommendation Scheme, with Intelligent Cold Start and Cold Start recommendations as backups when users do not have sufficient information available.
