Acquiring new subscribers is important to any subscription business, and Cortex has special stages tailored to combine individual lifecycle marketing with traditional acquisition efforts. For new email leads, Cortex will first send a welcome message with the New To Your Brand stage. For the second message, Cortex calculates the customer’s probability to purchase and chooses the best message for customers with high purchase intent versus those with low intent.
For those potential customers who do not convert after the initial welcome messages, Cortex will react to their onsite behavior to determine what their next message is. Customers who are engaged with your site content would be eligible for Subscription Abandon and Interested stage messages urging them to subscribe. Customers who are less engaged will receive a Needs Nurturing message to try to re-engage them with your business.
